Contex Americas Expands Facilities While Moving Headquarters to Herndon, Virginia

Contex, world leader in large format scanning, announces North America headquarters move from Derwood, MD to Herndon, VA location offering more resources and benefits to customers and partners.

The new facility offers the Contex Americas team added space to support all Contex partners and customers and is in the center of the Northern Virginia’s Technology Corridor. The new facility will allow Contex to perform more dynamic product demonstrations, host training events, and arrange other supporting functions to aide dealers in growing their businesses and assist customers in choosing the wide format product that best suits their needs. The new facility is within minutes of Washington’s Dulles International Airport and is located in close proximity to Contex’s government integrators and customers making it easy and convenient to locate.

With new dealer and distributer programs like the Spare Parts Extended Warranty Program announced in November 2009, the new more sophisticated facility provides an ideal environment to facilitate this program while managing parts and servicing Contex scanners throughout the life of the scanner. Current and prospective Contex partners will also benefit from the advanced technical resources available with this transition, allowing staff members to be more mobile and accessible whether in the office or from a remote location.
